“Little feathers seem to find me. Are these from the angels?”
Yes!
In my experience, feathers can also be from animal spirit guides if the animal guides are birds and your working with your animal spirit guides. Other than that, little feathers are a sign from your angels that they see you, hear you and they love you.
Let me tell you a little story, when I was learning about angels from Doreen Virtue, the class took a break and I walked off on my own, pondering the fact I had traveled thousands of miles to be there, and what it would bring to my life.If this is what God wanted me to do in life, was it part of my mission on Earth? Was this it?
Just then a little white feather came floating down, just like it did in the beginning and the end of the movie “Forrest Gump” and it landed right at my feet. Not four feet away, but drifted right to me. To me, that was the angels letting me know they were overseeing this part of my life and that I was being divinely guided and blessed.
So yes, the feather is a sign from the angels in response to a question, a thought or an emotion. It’s their way of saying, you are loved and being guided through this by the angelic realm.
I still have that little feather.
I love those moments when you really get that sign that you are connected to spirit. I got a white feather right outside my room door the last time I staffed for ATP in Laguna and I’d asked for sign! Thanks Eileen for answering these questions and keeping us connected.

So true! I was working an office job and kept receiving the guidance that it was time to quit so I could pursue my lightworker career, but I was afraid. One day I had to walk to the very back of the office floor to go to a back room. What did I find right outside the door when I got there? A little white feather! Keep in mind, there were no windows that could even open on the entire floor. I marveled at the feather and took it back to my desk, thanking the angels. Needless to say, I took the guidance!

Thank you for writing about feathers. I have so many feather stories, and have kept every feather I have found, two pint size baggies full from over the years. The feather, when found, gives me a particular message through my heart and feelings so I know it comes from the angels.
Yesterday I asked for healing for my beloved dog; he was just diagnosed with bladder cancer and I am devastated at the thought of losing him. This morning I found a white feather in my car and I questioned whether it was a sign. When I arrived at the office I was astonished to find an e-mail in my inbox “Channeling and The Meaning of Angel Feathers”. Thank you Eileen…the angels are certainly working through you.

Speaking of angels communicating their love by sending feathers, I thought I’d mention that they like to tickle me sometimes when I lay down in bed at night! It’s a very nice feeling!

Hello: I read Beleta Greenaways wonderful little book called Simply Angels.
As a Christian, I was very pleased to read the parts on how Angels communicate with us by leaving us feathers. However, I have a question. Do the feathers have to be “white”? If the feathers are not white, does that mean it is just a coincidence that “feathers” now keep showing up in my life!
I ask this because since reading her book ( I read it on June 30, 2010) feathers of all kinds and colors have been coming into my life.
Example:
7/3: Received a Native Indian Dream Catcher in the mail made with brown and white feathers
7/4: A small brownish/white feather was on the hand towel in the bath room
7/3: While walking (round trip) on a dirt, country road found a medium sized feather that was NOT on the path going out, but was right where I stepped coming back home.
7/4: Found a dead bird in front of our house (Obviously…many feathers)
This past week, while on a business trip to Texas and Oklahoma, I was AMAZED at how many feathers I found. I had several very stressful days and in my morning prayers I asked God and the Angels to be with me.
7/13 : Fort Worth, Texas VERY trying morning getting to my mgt. training workshop at the Norris Conference Center. I had been in and out the SAME front door bringing in materials for the day. I asked God to be with me; let my participants have a meaningful day and take away all the “negative “vibes I was feeling due to the challenges of the morning. RIGHT there, on the sidewalk in front of the door I had been in and out of ALL morning, was another medium sized gray/black feather! Such peace came over me!
7/15 : Tulsa, OK: Another stressful day with another workshop. (Around 7:45 am)
Back and forth getting things set up that had not been done by the hotel the night before. In/out same doors multiple times, again, asked God and the Angels to “calm me” so I could be centered and at ease for my participants. WHAM….a pink feather in front of the door, that once again, I had been in and out of multiple times.
7/15: Tulsa International Airport (5:30 pm) : I had just returned my rental car and was heading to security to board my flight to O’Hare. I had just thanked God for the safe travels I had had all week driving from Texas to Oklahoma and asked for safe and on-time flights to get me home via O’Hare in Chicago. This is a famously difficult airport…numerous cancellations and delays. If I had any delays, I’d miss my connecting flight. I asked the Angels for clear skies and no DELAYS. My roller carry on bag got stuck coming across the automatic doors going into the airport. As I turned back to see what was causing the trouble, off to my immediate right side, was a very small brownish feather that was almost the exact color of the carpet. If the roller bag had not got stuck, I would have missed it completely!!
I have every feather since this has begun!
I know this is a long comment, but I am “marveled” at how many feathers keep coming into my life. There are so many Angels who are ready to just answer our calls.
It is nice to know that they communicate with feathers….of all kinds????

my daughter recently got married, a few strange happenings occured a few weeks before the wedding we found a beautiful light pink budgie with a blue stripe down the middle, a week prior my daughter was out on a walk when a bird pooed in her hair, on the day of the wedding a white feather came out of the sky and landed in her hand. For three days after the big event there were white feathers outside my front door, can you please tell me what this means..
Annis, such a good question! No, feathers don’t have to be white. In my experience, if the feathers are white or very light in color, it’s usually a sign from the angels. And if they are feathers of different colors, it is a sign from animal spirits and/or a message from Nature.

Thank you for clarifying about the different colors of feathers being found!
There were feathers in my path, all summer long. For some reason, I was moved to pick them up. Sometimes I would be about to step on them. I don’t know why but I felt I must pick up only those that were directly in my path. Some days would be a “5 feather day” or a “1 feather day”.
I am not sure of the meaning but it always feels like a little blessing. I do feel that more will be revealed. I was happy to come across this website. The idea that the feathers are signs of angels is very comforting. I would love to learn more about angels.
In the meantime, I’ll collect the feathers in my path.
The son of my mothers best friend when she ws young just came to stay for four days. We both felt this encounter after 50yrs to feel our mothers (since passed) close to us.We kept finding white feathers all over the city while walking,sitting having coffee and even once while chatting in a courtyard, three all attached to each other came floating down in front of us. He left the other day and told me this morning that over breakfast (he is in another country!) he found another once. We feel that somehow there is a revelation in all this.We are waiting and seeing!
Wow. Same for me dude. Like I found a little white feather at school but didn’t think much of it . That was like a few months ago. Then this morning I found another identical one in my room. I knew it couldn’t be a coincidence… I have been experiencing religious confusion and asked god for signs and such… I feel a bit more enlightened now… Lol can’t wait to share this at my cathecism class. My teacher will be interested in hearing about this…
Yeah, feathers are a sign from the angels. It’s their means of letting you know that you are being guided and protected by angels. I love to see signs that I am protected, that no need to worry at all. It’s gonna be an assurance that everything will turns well.
I was speaking to a friend over the phone about how I had been praying hard for a sign regarding a personal situation going on. As I was talking a white feather floated from above my home and landed right in my lap! I knew right then that I was making the right decision.

So funny i was getting on the freeway with my boyfreind he was driving and all of a sudden a little white feather floated into the car so softly out of nowhere and was floating in the front seat of the car and landed on my chest..what does this mean…does it mean anything??
